Employment Type:  Salaried / Full Time Basis 

Salary Range:        $60,644 - $75,805 

Benefits:               Excellent employee benefits, including 8% paid retirement

The YMCA of Greater Miami is hiring an Executive Director to lead and manage the operations of the Homestead Branch with particular emphasis on significantly growing membership in this fast-growing area of Greater Miami.  The ideal candidate should be able to effectively lead positive community relationship development with all levels of volunteers, staff, and local business leaders.  Strong organizational and operational skills are necessary for successful performance.  This position will be working in close partnership with the Association Office and reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.  Candidates should have demonstrated success in membership growth, annual giving campaigns, program development, staff and volunteer development, and strong commitment to the YMCA movement.  The qualified candidate must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and organizational, supervisory and computer skills.

Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities required:
Bachelors Degree.
·YMCA Senior Director Certification preferred.
·Minimum of five years of successful professional YMCA leadership experience.
·Extensive management experience and competence in facility based YMCA operations, including membership growth, staff management, and program development.
·Bilingual English and Spanish a plus, but not required.
·Demonstrated success in face-to-face, major gifts solicitation, special events, fundraising, Board, and Volunteer development.
·Excellent supervisory and organizational skills.
·Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
·Excellent computer skills, (Microsoft Word and Excel).
